At least that is what the London club confirms on its website and social media, the loan accompanied by the wish that Dyer will get some playing time with the Dutch team. The former Chelsea player has (already) only four minutes with the Blues last year during the UEFA conference meeting against Astana.

Dyer is offered immediately after the transfer, a very good prospect for the club, an essential player for the under-21s who already has 46 caps. According to Volendam, the transfer was completed four minutes before the transfer window closed, which is interesting. According to Chelsea, Dyer is on their list of 16 loan players, which puts him in a position to be the 17th.

Chelsea specifies that "Chelsea is pleased to announce that the club-trained midfielder Kiano Dyer has signed a new contract until 2030 and will then join the Dutch club Volendam until the end of the 2023/24 season."

"Dyer arrived at Chelsea from West Bromwich Albion at the end of a season in the under-14s and is an English international at the under-15, 16, 17, and 19 levels."

"Of the past two seasons, he has been a regular starter with Chelsea's under-21s, earning the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award in October 2024." His first steps in the men's first team took place in December 2024, on the occasion of a victory in the UEFA Conference League in Astana.

"The previous season consisted of 32 matches played with the first team of Premier League 2, three goals scored." He goes on loan to the Netherlands, to Volendam, whose promotion to the Dutch top division is crowned with success after an Eerste Divisie championship title collected in 2024/25.

"We can't wait to observe Kiano's journey in the Netherlands."
